Terms of Service
Last updated: 17 September 2026
These terms govern your use of bonatt.com and the group, meeting and event sourcing service provided by Bonatt AS.
1. Who we are
Bonatt AS Organisation number: 937 717 067 Registered address: [STREET ADDRESS], Bekkestua, Norway Email: contact@bonatt.com
2. What Bonatt does
Bonatt sources accommodation, meeting space and event venues on behalf of companies and organisers. We do not own or operate hotels or venues.
When you send us a brief, we approach hotels and venues on your behalf, negotiate rates, and present you with options. We act as an intermediary. Where you accept an option, the accommodation or venue contract is formed between you and that hotel or venue, on their terms, unless we tell you expressly and in writing that Bonatt is contracting as principal.
Our service currently covers accommodation, meeting space and event venues only. We do not sell transport, car hire, or accommodation combined with other travel services as a package. If that ever changes, we will say so clearly and comply with the additional obligations that apply.
3. What it costs you
Nothing. We charge no client fee, booking fee or commission to you.
We are paid commission by the hotel, venue or accommodation supplier when a booking you accept is confirmed and honoured. You should know this, because it is how we fund the service. It does not change the rate you are quoted — the price we present is the price you pay.
4. Quotes and bookings
- Quotes we present are indicative and subject to availability until confirmed in writing.
- Rates, availability and terms are set by the hotel or venue, not by us.
- A booking is only confirmed once we have sent you a written confirmation identifying the supplier, the rate and the cancellation terms.
- Cancellation, amendment and payment terms are those of the hotel or venue, and will be stated in your quote before you accept. Read them — they vary considerably, and group bookings often carry stricter terms than individual rooms.
- Payment is normally made directly to the hotel or venue, in accordance with their terms, unless we agree otherwise in writing.
5. Your responsibilities
By sending us a brief you confirm that:
- The information you give us is accurate and complete.
- You have authority to request quotes on behalf of the organisation you name.
- You will tell us promptly if your requirements change.
- You are acting in a business or organisational capacity. Our group and event service is business-to-business.
6. Individual booking
Self-service individual hotel booking is not yet available. Anything shown on the site relating to it is a preview of work in progress. Joining the waitlist creates no contract and no obligation on either side. We will publish separate terms before that service goes live.
7. Our liability
We take care in sourcing and presenting options, but we are an intermediary and not the provider of the accommodation or venue.
- We are not liable for the acts, omissions, performance, quality or insolvency of any hotel, venue or supplier, nor for any change they make to a booking.
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of business, or loss of opportunity.
- Where we are found liable to you, our total liability in respect of any booking is limited to the commission we actually received in connection with that booking.
- Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud, gross negligence, or death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
8. Things outside our control
We are not liable for failure or delay in performing our obligations where it results from events outside our reasonable control, including strikes, supplier insolvency, extreme weather, epidemics, acts of public authority, or failure of utilities or communications networks.
9. Website content
The content, design, text and logos on bonatt.com belong to Bonatt AS. You may not copy or reuse them commercially without our written permission.
We aim to keep the site accurate, but content is provided for general information. Destination imagery and illustrative material do not represent specific properties or availability.
10. Complaints
If something goes wrong, email contact@bonatt.com with the details and your booking reference. We will acknowledge within two business days and aim to resolve matters within fourteen days.
A complaint about the hotel or venue itself should be raised with them directly, since they are the provider. We will help you do so.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by Norwegian law. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the Norwegian courts, with Oslo District Court (Oslo tingrett) as the agreed venue of first instance.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published here at the time you send us your brief, and we will keep the date at the top current.
